Death Note

As you can see in the title, we are going to talk about one of the best psychological thriller anime, the Death Note. I think everybody at least heard about this series since they started to watch anime. So let's hop into it!

Ryuk and Yagami

 Yagami Light is a really clever and diligent student,so it is obvious that he always got the best marks in the school. His father a police officer which is going to be a very important fact later. Light has a really good life, he's appearance is casual, the girls are usually attracted to him, but he hasn't got any friends. It's not because he can't make friends, or he has to work hard for. He is just simply acts like he has some feelings for others but he has nothing in his mind. He's a psychopath. He doesn't like the world in this form and he can't find any interests in it, because the police can't stop the crimes in the country and everything is depraved. Deep in his heart he judges the criminals and system, because everyone who committed a crime just simply can walk away with the help of a good lawyer and they get rid of any kind of prosecution.

 One day, Ryuk who is a shinigami(death god) steals a second death note and throws it to the human world. What do you think, who found it? Of course, Yagami Light. As Yagami touches the death note, Ryuk has to appear to him within 39 days. That's how Yagami and Ryuk will meet and become a devilish duo, and how they start killing criminals.


The story comes up with a new character who's name is L Lawliet, but we know him for a while as the unknown detective, "L". The main thing will be the duel between the good(L) and bad(Yagami and Ryuk). Both fighting against the crimes, but in a different way so it makes the story really interesting and unexpected.

However, it is not easy to use the death note. It has really serious rules and instructions to use. Here are few of them:

  •      The human whose name is written in this note shall die.
  •     This note will not take effect unless the writer has the person's face in their mind when writing his/her name. Therefore, people sharing the same name will not be affected.
  •     If the cause of death is written within the next 40 seconds of writing the person's name, it will happen.
  •     If the cause of death is not specified, the person will simply die of a heart attack.
  •      After writing the cause of death, details of the death should be written in the next 6 minutes and 40 seconds.

Beelzebub

I usually watch slice of life, romance or drama animes, but Beelzebub really got me with it's hilarious story and characters.  Actually, this was my first comedy series, but I don't regret any second that I spent to watch Beelzebub. The jokes, the plot, the plot twists are very good. The Beelzebub is a 60 episodes long anime series produced by Pierrot Plus. The manga is written and drawn by Ryuhei Tamura. It was published in 2008 as a one-shot. This is obviously a comedy, no doubts, but you can find so much action and a very little dose of love between each characters. In the first few scenes we can see a short introduction about our main character Oga Tatsumi. The Ishiyama High School is not a casual school. The students are more like little criminals than friendly and diligent students. The Kuzu no Honkai is a 12 episode long anime series adaptation, directed by Masaomi An dō. It was streamed by Amazon Prime Video in Japan and worldwide.
